Can anyone confirm that the Stratus carbon bottom plate has to be trimmed in the rear in order to install the new carbon landing gear? It looks like the only way, but I thought I'd check before hacking it up. Thanks. - David

Yes, if you buy the conversion kit for the landing gear, you'll need to remove a small amount of material from the back of the bottom plate. The instructions that come with the landing gear conversion covers that procedure.

Mine didn't come with instructions, but it's pretty obvious. I thought I'd ask before cutting... this time.

That damn thing is too ugly to go on my Stratus. :lol:
I can see the weight mattering to great 3Ders but not to me. ;)
