Are there any pictures with the 600 and 700 side by side yet? If not, could we have some posted? If they are around where are they?:) Thanks!

With the 700 in the States now, on demonstration, I'm sure we will be able to get a picture like this. Guys....;)? It gives a better idea of scale until it arrives to the general public. It was great when the 500 came out in Jan. and was set next to the 600. You could really get a feel for it without being there in person of size. Anyway, I thought it would be fun the put request out.

Wow, not as big a size difference as I thought. Is the 700 the same size as a Raptor 90? Probably a bit early for this question, but I wonder how different the flight characteristics are? Big difference, small difference? I'm trying to decide on the 600n or 700 myself...

:fly:cheersBIGGER FATTER BOLD BETTER .But Not much .You can tell its just beefier and a heck of a lot more powerful. I watch the test flight vids and that things makes enough power of any of us power freaks .I particularly love the sound of the Rotors more than any thing else about these Helis

The flying difference is more significant than the visual difference. In other words, you would tend to think that it must fly about the same because it is just slightly bigger. Not true. 90 size hells fly totally different than 50's. Like Tim says, way more power, much louder blade noise and also a lot more stability. 90's also have an overall "slower" feel than 50's. Not because they move slower, but because there is a lot more mass to move around. Excellent to learn 3D placement and precision, especially now that parts will be less expensive than any previous 90 size parts.

Only downside is fuel cost. You only get 6 to 7 tanks to the gallon. If fuel cost is not a concern, you can't go wrong with this bird :)

Speaking of parts Bert, what would some parts cost,, I take it they will come in pairs of twos like all the other align stuff,,, give us a idea of price, like what would
two mainshafts cost????
two flybars?????
jsut some general numbers would be good, not holding anyone to anything, but just to get a idea,, ,

What I meant by fuel cost is the fact that some people that like to fly a lot are on a budget. At least that is the case here at my local field. Almost everyone that has seen me fly the 700 is already making plans to buy one. However, I do hear comments about some people saying "if it wasn't for the cost of fuel, I would buy one for sure". Of course, you're paying for horse power and in my opinion it is well worth it :)

I'm running the Hatori pipe on mine (SB-18), but Jason has been testing the 3rd or 4th revision of the Align pipe, which will be released along with the kit.

I'm not what the parts cost will be. I'm assuming booms, main shafts, etc. will be sold in pairs like the 500 and 600, but I'm not sure about that either. The prices have not been released yet. I'm sure they'll be less expensive than most other 90 size parts out there though :)

bert your making me want the 700 more and more. I was planning to get a 600N Super Pro. but now I am thinking I will get a 700. gah 6 flights a gallon 3$ a flight.

will the 700 come in CF and GF versions like the 500 and 600E, both of the versions with TT?

Anywhere from 6 1/2 to 8 tanks per gallon is the standard for all 90 size birds. The guys at my field here in Florida buy their CoolPower 30% fuel for about $22.00 per gallon. So it boils down to about $3.00 per flight like you said. On 50 size you get about 11 to 12 tanks per gallon (about $2.00 per flight).

Not sure about versions yet either, but I'm sure they'll all have TT drives.

an extra 1$ per flight is worth it I think, I will be getting a 700.

Now you have a 700 Bert can you see your 600n sitting idle? Or do you still rate the 600N.
Surley it does everything the 700 does and more agile, cheaper to run etc?

I hadn't flown my 600 for almost 2 months. I was flying my 500 on a daily basis preparing for the Vegas competition. I then started flying my 700 about 3 to 4 weeks ago, but this past Sunday at the local field I brought my 600N and I flew it almost all day. I love the 600, it is very quick and agile and a lot of fun to fly!
