I was on my 30th pack through the Blade 400 and came in for a landing. I looked away JUST as the heli was touching the ground, assuming that it would land EXACTLY like it had the last 10 packs I'd flown. You know what happens when you assume!!!!
A small gust of wind hit the front of the heli and WHAM.....right into my leg. The saddest thing was that the first thing I did was check the heli for dammage! You can always grow your leg back, right?
First pick is of my leg (yeah, it's my leg....no "chicken leg" references!!! The other two are of the day after when I "got back on the horse" and flew it again.
Anyone else willing to post their "oops" moments!?!?

Ouch now we are getting bigger this things are not toys anymore.... I flew into myself with the HBFP it smarted but no damage to me. At least you got right back on, and now you'll probably respect it's power a little more.

Ouch, I did that with my FP machine. Only gave me a blood blister. No biggy.

Once my brother hit idle up on the transmitter by mistake while I was holding a Blade CP brushless in my hand, I got the rotor stopped with my hand, but burned up the ESC and stripped the gear, not to mention the massive bruising to my hand. My brother didn't feel to good after that. Only other time was close in hovering and wind blew that CP with carbon blades into my shoulde. Neither time did it break the skin though, those cuts look like some nice ones. Theres a picture on the net of a guy who got hit with his .90 heli in the face, lots of stitches. then of course theres the guy in Texas who hit himself in the neck and died.

My little Hummingbird bit me once. I was scared to look at my fingers after hearing the stories. Fortunately for me, it was about the same outcome as carlo's, no visible damage. Stung like a $#@*&% when it happened and fingers were a little sore for a few days.

You know, as crazy as it was, I immediately came into the house and asked my wife to take a picture of my leg. She took one look and said, "we're going to the emergency room!" Of course I wasn't going to let that happen.
A little water, hydrogen peroxide (yeah, that felt good) and then some "liquid skin" (and that felt even better!!!)
My wife wouldn't take the stupid picture so I had to do it myself!
Just wondering if I was the only wacko out here.....

haha go to the hospital, a coworker cut his finger a little bit and went to the emergency room and the doctor said " You came in here for that"?. I think the doc would have made the same comment to you. Its a nice wound, hopefully there will be a scar so you can show all the chicks ( Wife). Chicks dig scars.
