I am new to the nitro heli thing. I built my Raptor 50 Titan and have put 3 tanks of fuel through it in a low hover in normal mode.
At the factory recommended needle valve and mixture metering screw settings (3 turns out & flush with case), the engine seemes quite rich. Does anyone have experiance with this engine? What are your screw and needle settings?

Thanks,

Trevor

for this motor there must be a general consensous on what nitro mix and what type of glow plug your using, and what your adjustments are set at for optimum results. Micheal from raptor technique informed me that he has never had a problem with them. Here in australia half the people luv, them and the other hate em and cant get them tuned right. I think its trial and error of getting to know this motor, and what it wants. try less nitro. i asked micheal if he can have a section on raptor technique for the redlines, see how we go there. this motor is a great motor for the people who can get it right.
