I have searched the forums but havent seen anything to answer my question.
I want to get a GOOD sim, but i don't want to have to upgrade my computer.
G2 looks like it will run just fine on my computer, but I was wondering if it wasn't nearly as realistic.
So what should i do?
Get G2, save money, and learn to fly a heli
or
Get G4, get a new video card, get loads more ram, so on... but learn on a more "realistic and visually appealing" system
please tell me G2 would work fine for a beginner

I had (still have) the G2,G3.5 and actually liked some of the stuff on the G2 better than the G3.5. Never had any issues with the graphics but took the specs of the sim with me when I had the computor built. Would be willing to get rid of the G2 reasonable if your interested.:smokin:

i've got g2, as it was gifted to me used. the graphics look fine to me. probably not as good as g4 or reflex xtr (or whatever it's called) but good enough. i'll say it this way, it's not bad enough to make me go out and buy a new one.

Download the G4 Demo (http://www.realflight.com/free-g4-demo.html) and turn all the visual options off and see how it runs for you.

:thumbup:Harder than it looks isn't it! It will get easier with more practice but just remember it is not the same as a real one. Definitely helps with muscle memory though!
