Hey gang,
Here are a few pics of me having fun with my XRB. Heck, it's 115 heat index outside, I'm hugging the A/C !

Rob,

Your pictures got me to dust off my XRB. When I'm flying it, herself totes around a fly-swatter to insure I don't get too close. :D

That XRB is a cool little machine. Got the chance to fly one at the Toledo show this year and I was amazed how stable that little thing was.

Hey Bob, if I could just keep it out of the nightstand and the corner of the wall !  I have been having a ball with it. Flying in forward or backwards flight in a tight area is a challenge ! :glasses: It's amazing how when you are used to flying outside, you don't worry about a "ceiling" hehehee in the basement, the ceiling is always there !

Hey Kinger, it is a very stable bird. It will hover as steady at most 30 and 50 size machines I have flown. I personally think it is a wonderful training tool. I know my nose-in and basically all "right-side up" orientation has improved since I got it.

Just got back inside from flying this little beast in the yard. It doesn't like ANY KIND OF BREEZE !! Totally flyable, but man, even a breeze you can barely feel, doesn't do it any good. What I saw most was that it will NOT fly into the wind.... without a lot of effort. I had to play with dropping the collective, the adding collective with FULL forward cyclic to get it to fly into the wind.... sort of like flying a full scale Piper Cub into a 30 mph wind.... ! But when you got her going down wind...... Shazammmmmm !!!! Off to the races. It was sort of fun, in a different way. heheheee

Check out the carbon mah xrb blades. Dimitry had a set of them on up at IRCHA and it flew pretty good outside.
