the throttle stick on my 9c super has a rachet and I tried to take it off, but when I do that the stick is so loose its impossible to control the throttle well, is there any way I can tighten the movement up?
Thanks

I've read about using fuel tubing or other material on over the spring. I tried fuel tubing with the spring both upright and inverted and didn't like it. I made the stick fell springy or spongy. I settled on flipping the spring on my 7C over and bendin it a little to provide some resistance. It seemed loose at first but I've grown to like it. I just use cation as it wouldn't take much of a bump to move it.
I'll watch this thread as I'm looking for a way to provide a little more resistance without the spongy felling or a high breakaway requirement.

Flipping it over, or buying the correct part from Futaba are the two best options.

I asked Futaba this:
Hi,
I have a T7CAP radio I bought a couple years ago and have since gotten into helis. I was wondering if there is a retrofit kit to get the smooth throttle action of the 7CHP on my 7CAP.
Is there a way to retrofit the throttle on my 7CAP radio to the smooth throttle of the 7CHP?
Thanks.And they replied with this:
Thank you for your recent e-mail.

A trim ratchet spring. Does that sound like the right tool for the job? I'd order it, but I'm not about to pay $10 for shipping on a 30 cent spring. Wish I could see wat is is and how it fits.
Anyone else wanna buy one nad be the guinea?

I agree. Flipping it over is the best option. Over the last 15 years I have done the modification on about a dozen radios. Takes less than 30 mins and works as smooth as heli radios that cam with the smooth throttle .
