Hi there
I just purchased this radio with AR 6200 recievers! I have changed the gyro settings to get heading hold in one gyro mode and ordinary hold in the other. Thats means gyro values on 75 % and 50 %. Anyway being in the first mode the red light on the Futaba 401 isn't steady! It was steady a couple of times but not anymore. Don't know what happened? The servo seems to behave like in heading hold mode, not turning back into center! Why is the red light not locked?
Another thing the smartsafe/failsafe mode. I did binding with throttle down to have zero throttle with loss of radio contact. Anyway if I put the heli on the ground, turns on radio and heli, let them connect with zero throttle, and afterwards turn off the radio the heli starts spooling up. It takes a few seconds for the radio to connect again and stop the spooling. It just seems as it can give a dangerous situation. How do i make the failsafe with zero throttle for safety?
Or does it have a reason? Like to prevent falling down if radio loss in air?
