hello just windering if i could charge 2 2100 3s lipos at once as 6s in series on the tp-610c charger? it look like you could because on the duo charger it does 4 at once and the batterys are hooked up in series at 6s.

Yep. Just gotta make a harness to tie the two pack together and plug in one balace tap to the Bank 1 Group A slot and the other into the B slot, offset towards the A slot. There's a pic in Finless Bob's tech room showing how to do it.

Take a look at the manual for the Thunder Power TP210 balancer. ( http://thunderpowerrc.com/html/instruction-manuals.htm )... it shows the correct way of charging 2 packs at once. Note that the order (group A, group B) must be correct otherwise the balancer will be damaged and not covered under warranty.

The idea is to have the negative side of the charging lead (charger output) attached to the same pack as the negative end of the balancer. The positive of the charging lead must be attached to the same pack as the positive end of the balancer.

TP recommends buying 2 packs together, always using them as 6S together and always charging them together as 6S if you are going down this road.

An adapter will be required...

It's a picture, not a video. I would have to search for it to find it....

Thanks, I will track it down. In the mean time, I think I will pick up another 610 tomorrow. I like it better than the 1010. Granted I don't have the latest firmware on the 1010 so it only does LiPo currently. But I really like the size of the 610 plus it comes with the balancer for only $129. I may keep the 1010, but I am starting to collect too many chargers.

Is this it?

In this picture, the pack with the positive wire goes to bank B. So I always tell myself to Be Positive when charging 2, 3S packs. Also, you plug in the bank B balance lead first so the balancer will not interpret it as a 3S pack. I can't plug the leads in fast enough if you plug in bank A first.

MAKE SURE you keep the polarity straight or magic smoke WILL come out of the balancer. I had a total brain fart last night and hooked the packs up backwards.. A small amount of magic smoke came out of my 210, but I got it all pulled apart very quickly and it still works.. Just stinks BIG TIME.

The pack that is plugged into the Y on the negative side **MUST** plug into the balancer in Bank A in Group 1. I hang a Group A tag on each of my Y harness negative sides as a reminder. Didn't work too good last night tho. hehehe
