I thought I'd summarise my early sticking points:
1) Seems quite a few L10 flybarless conversion kits being sold off as L500 - they have the Delrin yoke swash driver rather than the more wear resistant collar, lever and radius arm version.
2) Connecting up electrics not entirely intuitive - Logo 500/600 manual shows some mistakes - best to refer to the swash pattern and V-Stabi manual.
3) Plug in panels ready configured for helis L5/600 / MLX / T600E&N are not a substitute for learning the setup software.
4) Electromechanical setup best done in Test Mode where the gyros are inactive
5) Trimming HAS to be done in Classic Mode
6) The collective gain & rate default for the L500 was way too low on my model
7) Good to figure out Bank switching early on to compare setups
