Hi again to everyone.

My heli is about Maxed out with mods now but the only thing I havent done is the canopy.

I have considered the light yellow Align Canopy
http://i30.tinypic.com/242ctvb.jpg

And the White Trex 450 V2
http://i27.tinypic.com/op7286.jpg

But to be honest as my heli is a Belt Cp I was thinking should I just go get a fibreglass white Belt canopy (pic is yellow think you can get white!) as Im not sure I want my heli to look like a Trex 450 Copy but rather something better than that.

Any opinions welcome. Pics of nice canopys would be great to help me decide.

I opted for the Trex canopy, because the 2100 batteries from Gerd are thicker than the stock pEsky ones, and hence sit further forward [by about 15mm]. The normal [and yes you can get white] belt CP canopy is too short for this, so I neede a longer one - hence the Trex.

Stock esky one looks a bit naff IMHO If you dont want the Align logo theres loads of EXI / Trex type about without it

I think the bottom align one looks better

I'm the kind of guy that always dreams of a beat up old Ford Anglia body with a full blown V8 under the bonnet. I think that the implications are obvious.:lol::lol:

Canomod canopies for the T-Rex fit nicely if you're after that bling factor.

I have ordered the Yellow ESKY fibreglass canopy as you cant get it in white. So I plan on painting it white when I get chance:thumbup:

Will post some pics.

Esky canopies are nice, but they just fit like crap!.

I have 3 different types.

Regular Esky Belt cp canopy (fits like crap and leans becuase of wires or whatever)
Trex 450 Canopy
Copter X (same as exi canopy)

and of all of them i like the CopterX canopy the best, its much tougher plastic
and just simply looks better even over the 450 Canopy. (the one in my Avatar picture)

cnchelicopter has a great deal, 4 of them (blue/white/red/yellow) for 24 bucks they are usually 8.50 a piece... i just ordered that set as i want a red one for my Exi, a yellow for my bro that just smashed his trex yellow one, i will put the blue one on my Belt with the blue CNC trex head and the white one as a spare.

Canomod canopies are fantastic, they are VERY well made - hand made fibreglass, and very rigid.
Hand Airbrushed amasingly well, with a high polished finish. At about £35 they are pricey but well worth it. Dont use it if you crash often though, its ashame to ruin it!
I'll put a pic up of it when i remember how to do it
