Does anyone know where I can get a manual for the Futaba GY401? I'd like to know what the different sequence of lights mean. Or if anyone can just let me know what the different patterns are that would be great too. Thanks tons in advance. :noteworthy

On the Futaba website, in the manuals section

http://www.futaba-rc.com/manuals/index.html

I suggest you print it double sided, then fold it in half, it'll make more sense (otherwise, the manual starts on the right side of the first page).

On solid = properly initialized and in heading hold mode
Off = properly initialized and switched to rate mode
Fast double flash = getting a stick input. This can also happen on radios like the dx7 and others where the trim is set per flight mode and one flight mode has some trim in it.
Fast flash for 3 seconds= initializing, don't move the stick or heli.
Slow flash= error condition. No signal on the gain wire, radio improperly configured, or the switch is in rate mode, switch to hh and reboot the gyro.

Also if you have a Spectrum radio you should rebind when you are done setup with the gyro switch in the heading hold position, this solves the problem of the gyro booting before the receiver.
