The spectrum has a slow reboot time that makes it especially bad when it gets zapped.

Yes I Read this thread .Very helpful in understanding what some of the mysteyous Glitches are during a electric 450 flight ,Even thos the system may be put together properly we still get glitches in the Heli........But I was reffering to the Radio itself..

One day looked down at my radio before I went to spool up AND MY SCREEN AND ALL THE iNFO ON IT WAS REVERSED......i CALLED jr AND THEY SAID sTATIC DOES THIS TO THE READ OUT........ I asked if it affects the model he said no.......The next time it happened while I was in the Air and my heli went nuts because Some who it changed my Normal pitch curve setting to look like the Wall street Market Graph .....I sent that Radio back to JR and I am still waiting for its return:arggg:
Hey Rick have you had any problems with Static discharge and your 500 yet? WHat type of Tail boom and set up you run ? A belt drive with Crabon tail tube is the one that is susposed to be a No NO for this EP heli

If the display was hosed, its not surprosing that something else was too. Thats lousy!
