Is this part (see pic) supposed to be loose?

It came from the factory assembled in this order: washer, washer, bearing. With this, I can move the flybar freely, but the center part is loose and I can move it side to side a little.

In the manual it shows: washer, bearing, washer. If I do this, it becomes too tight that I can't move the flybar freely.

It does seem to be OK loose, but I'm concerned that it might cause a problem eventually if that wasn't right.

no, it should not be loose. it should go washer, bearing, washer. i use red loctite to keep them in their place. if you tighten them too much, they get tight. some things loosen up after a few hovers though.

Mine is like yours fusen, washer washer bearing from the factory. I've tried washer bearing washer... which makes sense, but like yours it binds and are way too tight, takes a bit of force to move the flybars.

I've also tried just one washer, so it's washer bearing. It felt slightly tighter than the double washers, not much, but was very noticeable in flight... much harder to control.

Mine also has a bit of side to side play, which I was a bit concerned at first, but works great in flight.

Mine is exactly like yours.
Installed "wrongly" from factory (at least according to the manual)
I think I will live with the slop (what else can I do?), because binding is an absolute no-no. ;)

Thanks everyone. I'll just leave it like that then. :)
