Hi Rick

You need to set it up with the sticks center and stunt mode, Have you seen Finless Bob's
CCPM vids?:)

 Thanks lan777 for your help. Yes I did watch Bob's setup guide and learned a lot. Must have missed the part about stunt mode. I got my Belt CP setup and got a full battery hover. This is a different animal than my HoneyBee FP. I am going to love flying this heli. Thanks again for your help happy flying Rick

Are you using a computer radio ?
he has a good vid on setting up the futaba TX which covers it if I remember correctly .
I love my little belt I think it's an engineering wonder, and this forum is great for mods and info

What swash did you use with the CopterX head?

All the best Ian:)

I used cnc head for the belt cp I got from heli direct it is purple and the copter x is a blue head but using a after market bell222 fuselage so you do not see much of the swashplate. I do not have a computer radio as of yet that is my next investment what one do you recommend Thanks again for answering my question Rick

Ian is spot on. The concensus value for money 6ch is the Spektrum DX6i, which is cheaper [at the moment] than the Futaba equivalent. Big question is: do you want to pay the extra reddies now and go long term with a 7 ch?

Welcome to THE Belt CP forum - we are all here to help each other!!!!!!

Best of luck,

Mike

Yeah you got a scale body, are you going to want retracts and stuff?

Diff in price is a bit stiff though - about £100 for an extra channel. mmmm......

These other radios are still amazing value compared to what was available a few years ago but the DX6i is just remarkable. I think theyve just dropped the price again since I got mine
