what a beast! smooth as silk and so stable. plenty of power too. cant get over how smooth everything is. by eyeballing the pitch guage my tracking was dead on. i did notice one thing this heli demands quite a bit more respect then the 450. all in all im stoked i made this choice and didnt get something else. its one bad heli
after trimming the gyro in and getting a stable tail on its maiden voyage i did a quick front flip it was easy as a sim if not easier. brought it in landed checked lipo i only burned off about 1800mah since im just breaking the lipo in.

didnt want to get the heli to far away since i have not put any silicone on the belt yet.

Good news! I should have one as soon as they come out with the torque tube. Id rather not mess with a static producing belt.

Yeah, I totally agree and cannot have enough words to describe how smooth everything went during setup time. Just got one done this morning and ready to take off for trimming.
If you got your Trex-500 built, then static modification (for Spektrum radio, 2.4GHz - No issue with my old JR-347 PCM radio) is just a piece of cake. I will upgrade to TT, but not until it is easy to get. More than that, it is not sure that TT will cure the static issue since its bevel gears are plastic.
Get you a Trex-500, and you will not be disappointed.

it also caught its first ground lol 4rth flight and first flight with the align red canopy.
i got as little cocky upside down and took it in idle up. luckily my TH finger was fast and it hit some light brush and saved my CF blades.
so far i got off easy.
