Fitting the SportBEC

Hi guys just another question :P

can i get the Blue E-flight connector off and re-use it without cutting the wires, so i can solder the BEC wires on and then slip some shrink tube over the lot before slipping the Blue cover back over the connectors
-OR-

do i just cut the wires and buy a new connector?

PS is there any need/reason to rebind after fitting the SpotBEC?

I wasnt able to remove the wiring from the plug, but then I just cut them off and replaced them with deans connectors at the same time.

same here, just bought a deans with pigtail already attached and made an extension at the same time.

Only need to rebind if you change the servos positions. So no you dont re-bind from just adding a bec.

I just soldered mine to the ESC end of the power wires - very easy.
