Actually, I have mine working well at the moment. The only thing left to check is the piro rate and I can adjust that in the radio.
What I think is weird on the TR is if you setup the TR so the pitch adjustment is on the leading edge of the the TR grips, you lose about 1/4 of the travel with the pitch slider on the TR shaft. The neutral position ends up being shifted to the tail case side.
OTOH, if you setup the TR so the linkage to the grips is trailing edge, the neutral position ends up in about the center of the shaft and you can use all of the available TR shaft.
Does it matter if the TR grip linkage is leading or trailing? I think mechanically it makes more sense trailing edge.
Also, the Trex 600 TR hub and grips is a bigger diameter than the stock hub and grips making the TR diameter bigger. I found I had to turn the TR gain down to make up for the more effective tail. Has anyone tried shortening and rebalancing the TR blades?
