All black carbon 450 helis 6200 rx placement?

I have an all black carbon Dragonus 450 heli and am beginning to wonder if the carbon is hurting the reception/signal, I don't understand how my range check would change day to day , unless static plays a factor. I had over 200 ft range check one day and another I struggle to get 90 ft.

Is the Spektrum DX7 and 6200 so sensitive to carbon? Or static?


I'd like some suggestions and maybe some pics if it's possible.
