Hello all you Guru's:noteworthy out there. Is there a soft start setting on the Gaui ESC??
Yes, it has built-in soft start.
As long you selected the Helicopter mode, it doesn't matter with/without governor, it will set it with soft start.

With the Z20-980Kv, the soft start on the Gaui ESC 75A is very good and very soft.

Does it happen immeadiately? What are you running for THrottle and Pitch curves?
Is it form the toqure of the motor starting or are you havng too much pitch with rpms...?
try immeadately pushing the th to midstick (assumming you have zero pitch at mid) and does it do the same?
I'm surprised because mine sppols up extremly slow, so much i have to wait to get a full head of steam before taking off.
Have you set your esc for heli mode? per the instructions? two beeps then 3 or 4 beeps see attached

I have confirmed the ESC is in Heli-mode, W/O Gov.
I just got a new swash leveler so I need to set the bird up again. I'll let you all know how it goes.
