Hi guys,

I picked up a used N9 from ebay for $1325. Came with 3 x 8717's, 8311 throttle, YS91ST, SB18, hyperhub, hypercolar, SAB paddles and a Arizona painted canopy.

Installed a AR9000 and tested the servos and everything works, but at mid stick the servo buzzes. I can slightly give it cyclic and the buzzing goes away. I know all the links are pretty tight, so is that the reason they buzz?

Thanks,

Jody J.

it's normal. Because the servos are digital they act like that.

OK, thanks. I was just comparing it to my 600N & 600E that have 8717's and they don't buzz, so that's why I was asking.

Thanks!

I know all the links are pretty tight

Then you need to fix this problem before flying the heli. Tight links on the tail rods could cause the gyro to kick the tail back and forth and then the oblivious the battery drain is going to be high if all the links are tight. Also, the heli will fly much better with the linked sized correctly. My friend has the links on his N9 too tight and I can see that in the heli when I fly it.

Get the hypersizer or make your own custom tool using a stock ball for the N9 and size each link so you remove the tension.

I picked up the hypersizer, so I'll go through all the links.

Thanks,
