I have my new spectra and have started flying it I wasn't too worried about being able to see my voltwatch but after loosing tail control because of my battery going dead I think it would be good to be able to see it with the canopy on. It would also be nice to be able to see the fuel tank with engine facing rear. The only thing I can figure is to cut a whole in the side of my canopy like my fury has and I also stick the voltwatch in the view. I didn't cut a whole in it and I already painted it so I don't really want to cut a whole in it. Does anyone have any suggestions? I also wonder if I will be able to see the fuel level since the tank isn't close to the edge of the canopy, will even be able to see the fuel level with a whole cut in it.

I was wondering the same thing.I finaly got my canopy painted and untill now flu without it.Once I've put it on,I've realized that I can't see the fuel tank. What does everybody do?Cut the hole in the canopy?Or maybe run the header tank or something?
Some pictures would help?

Set a timer in your TX, or I have seen some use a kitchen timer, to alert you when you've had enough fun.

I have installed the 16oz Durbo fuel tank on mine, so you get about 25 - 30 mins out of a flight. I set my timer on my radio for 15 - 20mins.

15 mins is a long time to stay up there and when you land you know there is still a heap of fuel left.
