This video is of one of my flights last evening. First of all, I’m flying a modified E-sky Honey Bee FP heli with the AR6100 receiver which is updated, with the exception of the 1.6 brownout fix. Also, keep in mind that this heli also has a motorized tail.
At 0:43 into the video, the heli suddenly piros CCW 2 ½ times. Then, a few seconds later, the heli jerks about a ¼ turn also in the CCW direction. I suspect the problem is either gyro (E-sky HH gyro) related or AR6100 related. I don’t suspect the tail motor, because I only have a few flights on this tail motor and if the tail motor was indeed cutting out, the heli would be piroing in a CCW direction.
This has also occurred on a couple of occasions in the past; however, I was really never able to nail down the problem. What do you all think? Do you suspect the gyro or the AR6100? Thanks.
