OK I gotta say something.... Augusto and I never really knew each other but we did start crossing paths starting at IRCHA last year.

For those that want to call him a lier etc.... You just do not know him.
He is going to be pissed off at me probably for saying this but he as a man has been into this hobby longer than anyone here! Or at least close enough that you all don't even want to argue... It's called a 4 digit AMA!
OK so what does that mean? Nothing really I guess......

BUT I gotta say.... him getting this heli out was a passion of love and has NOTHING to do with his private life and income! He just wanted to put out a heli we all could love and appreciate! That was his goal and I believe him just as I do videos to help you all! It's called a passion in life and a desire to do so... Be it videos or a heli.... Most people never understand this and in their ENTIRE life never "get it"... All I can say is enjoy life and your "passions". If you don't you may become a sour person and question your purpose...... But I digress...

Everyone wants to pick on release date and all.... Augusto didn't care... The heli was ready WHEN "he" felt it was ready...

I will be flying one soon and I personally can't wait... Of course I will share what I think as usual good or bad but I have a feeling it wont be bad :)

Guys... I all want you to understand it was NOT about the the product for Avant... Really it wasnt... It was about a man that wanted to put out a great heli!... I know in this day and age of commerce that seems odd but I truly believe it is the truth!

I can tell you building one myself... the LOVE of the hobby shows! Thank you Augusto! I can't wait to fly your creation!

OK so to stop the personal attacks that I got paid off by Avant to say this (which is total BS as I don't do that and don't sell out to ANYONE!), what I am saying is I have talked to Augusto and from a passionate man about the hobby to another.... HE is as passionate as I am and maybe 100X than I am! He is a modeler like you and me.... I have great respect that I can tell you!

Augusto congratulations on getting your dream out and thank you for making me part of sharing your dream by supporting me in doing videos! I am very proud to do videos that can help your customers and your passion! :)

Pffff, I don't know who doesn't get it here Bob.

It's business... If you have a deadline AND announce that deadline and you don't make it, that can happen. Here it happened often.
It makes me personally hesitate to buy that heli, just cause I don't know what's gonna happen with the Avant.
I'd be really annoyed shelling out a lot of money and then finding out there's no parts anymore when I crash.

Nobody attacks the heli and it's quality, just the integrity of one person; And to me that's justified considering the history.

I don't know Augusto, but his acts does not give me a lot of confidence. It's about a first impression.
And please... If somebody comes with a new deadline 5 or 6 times, what does that make him...

Now I'm gonna wait a little and if things go well I will get one.

Well said, delays will happen.... But it doesn't look good. As far as being mis-truthful, if anyone can sit there and say that it never happened with a straight face I'd think that is pretty funny....

Not only do not understand what Bob is saying, but you're a hypocrite as well! What you are stating is a complete contradiction of yourself.
You obviously understand the value of this heli and you know you're goig to get one, so being ticked off about the release date should be a wash. Augosto and his business play by a different set of rules. Don't like it? Well piss off and go buy something else!
No one is forcing you to stick around and buy his products, but you negative idiots keep coming in here slinging the mud for no reason other than your self satisfaction of trying to sour everyone else over something that doesn't go your way. Stop acting like a bunch of two year olds that are throwing a tantrum.

Seriously, if you're out to get the best, then A) you should be ready to pay for it, and B) you should be willing to wait for it. It has been no secret that for the last year, to year and-a-half that the heli was being pushed back, then what is the point in complaining now??? The heli has been released. Go buy one, or buy something else. Either way, you need to quit flappin' yer yap and get on with it! What good is going to come from your belly-aching about it?

Why even waste your time? The Aurora is not going away. It will be sought after for a very long time and everyone knows it, otherwise no one would even be worried about it to begin with. You can argue until you are blue in the face over why you're upset, but you're better off spending your time on a different subject.
