I did my first inverted flip today, was able to hold it for a moment and flipped it back almost pissed my pants. The cyclic seems to be flow, I pulled back all the way on my elevator stick and it didnt flip as fast as I thought it would, how would you make it a little more twitchier?
my tail did not hold and I thought I was going to loose it (I was flipping it pretty low off the ground) Im running the K&B tail blades, could that be the issue? Im running 401 with 9650

what are your 3d PITCH and THROTTLE settings. Thanks

I will let those with more experience answer your questions. However, I bought a pair of the K&B tail blades and did not install them. The K&B's are significantly smaller than the MT stock tail blades. I liked the cool colors of the K&B's is why I bought them and they were only a tiny bit shorter than the stock blades. When I received them I realized they were not only shorter but much more narrow also.

I did not do the math but I am guessing the K&B's are a good 20 ~ 25% smaller in surface area.

I use K&B tail blades and have so for hundreds of flights without problems. This is what it sounds like to me.

Head speed to low..... you need at least 3,000 preferably 3,200
Buy green paddles
Make sure you have plenty of cyclic pitch

Do those things and it should flip like crazy.

I also run the K&B's and they run just as well as the big white stockers.

LITHIUM shows you the way above. He is wise in his kung fu.

That is good to hear. The physical size of the K&B's next to the OEM blades scared me away from trying them. I might put them on this weekend and give them try.

I also run K&B with gy240... no tail issues.. only time i have issues on multiple flips and bad collective killing head speed then get about 45% kick out. you might want to up your gain, i had same problem with to low gain setting.

if you got stock setup, run 100-90-100 throttle curve..more than enough for starting acro. if you have dx 7 put swash ale elv up to 75%, the max you can get before flybar cage hits blade grips.
This give you about 8 degrees on cyclic.
what i found is after you get the collective management correct your flips will be much faster cause of higher headspeed maintained.

if still not enough, do as other suggested, get green paddles, but they apparentley insane...

No....... green paddles from Thunder Tiger. They are very light weight thus increasing your cyclic speed.
