I was planning on upgrading my radio to a JR 9303 so I bought all new JR servs as $$ would allow. Now I may have the opportunity to get a Futaba 9C at a good price. My question is, will the JR servs work with the Futaba Rx? I know a futaba Tx won't drive the JR Rx but can I plug my servos in the Futaba Rx? Right now I'm running an ATX RD6kSuper and the JR and Futaba servos both work with it. I have a 9254 on the tail and a DS8311 on collective, and ds811's on the rest. Will it work correctly or should I hold off till I can get the 9303?

The JR servos will work fine in a Futaba RX. Because of the lack of a key on the servo connector it is possible to plug them in backward, but no harm will be done. Of course the servo will not work until it's plugged in correctly. :)

Main thing to note is that the dark wire will line up with a dark wire...
Futaba uses red/black/white, JR uses Red/orange/brown. Use one component of the original brand to verify polarity ( I use a switch or extension lead) and line up dark with dark.
Pretty simple..

Yeah, I'm coming to realize that most of this stuff is pretty simple and straight forward but I still like to check with people that know. I figure I'd rather look stupid by asking a simple question instead of doing something stupid that will cost me $$$ Know what I mean? Thanks for the help, it's very much appreciated. I realize now, it's just a matter of lining up the ground wires, hot wires, and signal wires with each other, nothing to it.
