Control Insturctions

I live no where close to any other pilots so am trying ot learn to fly using whatever help and materials I can find on the net at this stage. I have just purchased realflight 3 in mode 2. Can someone tell me what each button does and switch........ sorry for the dumg question. Also does anyone have a link to a site that is about how a helicopter flies and expains the terms used in describing the process

Welcome to the sport! Getting the sim was the first right step. I spent 2 months just flying G2 before I ordered my machine. I like you did not have anyone local to give me a hand on what type of machine to buy so I went with a Raptor V2 with an OS 32 engine mainly because of the cheap crash kits, and good flying characteristics A good site, if you decide to buy a raptor is www.raptortechnique.com. A couple of good sites to look at as far as buying a machine would be www.heliproz.com and Ricks Helicopters but I am not sure on the address for ricks but you can find it at raptor technique.

I am a newbie as well and only have about 20 flights on my machine so I'll let the guys who know what they are talking about give you better advice. There's a great group of experienced folks on this site and the only stupid question is the one you did not ask.

Where in Australia are you, as I am south of Perth W.A. and there isnt any flying clubs around here that support helis either (plenty of plankers though). Looking for someone to fly with.
