Why not charge using the LI-ION setting on the TP-1010?

Below is what the Thunder power tech emailed me:
Greetings,
I did so checking, for the li-on setting it will only charge at 100% at 4.1
per cell, once you select li-on in the charging menu, just select cell count
and charging amperage and then push the enter button, I have noticed one
mistake and that is after selecting li-on on the charging screen it still
says li-poly when you push the enter button, but it charges at 4.1v per
cell.
Thank you,

What choices? and isn't it supposed to go into charge mode by pushing
charge/sel
button. How low does it charge the lipro? Is it automatic shut off when the
battery is fully charged? How much current does it send to the lipro...Maybe
I
am just dense....I am not trusting this charger to be preforming as it
should.
I am now learey to charge my lipo batteries as well. The operational manual
has
a whole lot to be desired. Not updated as I would think it should be. Maybe
I
am crying wolf and it is working fine. Just don't want to trash a battery or
burn up my neighborhood. I am buying a class "D" fire extingusher for sure
now.
Thanks Jim

Unless I am missing something I see no Li-ion option on firmware 2.4, it has Lipo, Nicd, NiMh, A123, and lead acid.
