Looks to me like it was still attempting to fly without a tail rotor.

pretty good flying, a little lean and loud.
Some interesting technical stuff in the flight like the piroing tic tocs with reversals.
Looked to me like he was bringing it.

I dunno, but if it were me, I'd find the idiot with the freakin' air horn and make sure he needed a doctor to remove it from his sphincter.

its actually a trumpet or coronet.
Europeans like to make noise at sporting events. Being more common they develop a tolerance for it that we dont have.
If you fly with HC at an event, or plan to, you need to work on your horn ignoring skills. :):)

You might want to avoid watching Formula 1................especially at 6:30am when most are live on US television.

No, I don't watch Formula 1 so no worries there. Just seems awfully distracting to me, but I suppose those of us with mad skillz can handle the noise :)

I am with Jeff,
I would have taken the remnants of the helicopter and used it to beat the moron with the horn to an absolutely bloody pulp.

Its a possibility that during this competition, there were timed windows where the pilot had specific times to complete certain stunts/moves and the air horn was not from a bystander in the audience, but from the timekeeper group announcing the start and or end of the specific window to where the pilot must complete certain skills/moves.

What a gorgeous place to fly! I'm suprised the older guy could run in those pants! If he farted, he would blow his shoe off!!!

I hate to see any heli crash, but what amused me was the guy in the hat that put his hand straight on a hot bit. Watch his left arm !
Does make you wonder sometimes.

Then I would have taken the mortal remains of the helicopter and beaten the entire time keeper group into individual bloody pulps...

Looks to me like he tried to pull up outta the dive to late, clipped the tail roter on the grass with his tail down, shattered the tail and it went into the death spin.
