Video from the Flycamone2 camera mounted under my Logo 10 helicopter while flying at Discovery Bay today.

The sky was overcast and not very bright, so I used Vd (Video Dark) mode on the Flycamone2 instead of the Vr mode. The video seems slightly jerky, as if the FCO2 was constantly adjusting the number of "frames per second" depending on the brightness/darkness of the scene, but otherwise, the video quality is quite acceptable.

Slight "waviness" on the video due to vibration, but I don't know how else I can reduce that since the camera is already attached using both foam backed velcros that came with the FCO2. As far as I can tell, my Logo 10 is as vibration free as possible already.

The uploaded video is direct from the FCO2 without editing or recompression, and you can download the original video if you are logged into Vimeo.

Looks great! and nice flying :)

The waviness may be able to be reduced slightly, by adding a little piece of foam behind the pop up camera lens... at least it helped for me. I have mine on attached to the heli without any foam, but backed up the tilt lense with foam, as I think the vibration is from the tilt vibrating.

Anyway great view! really beautiful to watch :)

Thanks for the compliment.. :)

My FCO2 lens actually stays up by friction. I've opened up the FCO2 and added a strip of black electrical tape on each side of the body shell right next two where the lens swivels. I guess I'll to try adding some foam behind it to see if it helps with the waviness..

Cool, this is what I ended up doing: http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=64732

the pic half way down that shows the foam. My vid is wavy too, but mostly the canopy flexes... the scenery looks ok for the most part, and of course its on youtube so the original looks better.

Thanks for pointing me to the pic of how you secured the foam... Looks like it works pretty well..
