Hello All Rotorheads!
About 2 weeks ago I noticed that some settings in my Dx6i Tx had somehow changed. I asked my son if per chance if he'd goofed with it. I knew that he'd say no, he had not. Last Thursday my right head servo took a crap on me. LHS didn't have the DS75H servo in stock, so I bought a Spektrum DSP60 digital servo. I took the original DS75H off the tail, put it in the right head position and put the new servo on the tail. Now none of the controls except for the tail will operate in the correct direction! Mind you, before I unplugged servos I made a diagram of how they all plug into the Rx. And after I started having trouble I downloaded from Horizon another diagram of the original factory settings. I took my heli to the LHS and the kid played with the reverse settings, etc. for a 1/2 hour B4 he gave up. My Blade 400 is "possessed"!! :arggg:
A fellow member here named Mike said that my trouble is the digital servo. He said that I need to replace it with another DS75H, and once I do that, my troubles will disappear. He vehemently avowed how stable and great the B 400 really is. Anybody else out ther have any ideas?

If you settings are changing in the DX6i automagicly, then that is an issue you need to have Horizon take care of.

Putting a DSP75 back on the tail was not going to fix your swash problems. It was only to deal with the tail issues you were probably going to have with the DSP 60. The DSP60 does not have enough torque (12 oz) to work the tail. DS75H has 17 oz and DSP75 has 19 oz.

Your trouble on the swash is not because you used a digital servo. Your problem is mixing servos. DO NOT MIX SERVOS ON THE SWASH unless you really want all kinds of weird swash interactions.

He wasn't mixing servos on the swash if he replaced a stock swash servo with the stock tail servo. He said DS75H, not DSP75.

Yes, you are correct. The DSP60 went on the tail. The original DS75H from the tail went to the right rotor head. So now I don't have enuff torque to operate the tail even though I can't 'cause my heli is "possessed?":arggg:
