TREX 600N Align metal Fan with buggered magnent install

anyone want a metal fan and NOT going to use a governer or doesn't mind farting around with taking out my fubar'd magnent install. I either got 2 south poles or north poles pointing up as my GV-1 wouldn't sense. Fan is otherwise new, never ran. $10+shipping

turn the fan over,, drill a small hole beneath the magnet, and tap it out. put it back in correctly this time.

You can do that but you will have to drill 2 holes.Believe it or not that small hole drilled on one side of the magnet will cause serious balance problems.
I know from experience...........That was most likely the cause of a Align aluminum fan splitting in half.
So if you decide to drill one hole,don't forget to drill another hole,same size 180 degree's apart.

the more you drill and grind on it the more chance for failure keep it simple

yeah I'm not going to drill it etc...

I'll probably just end up keeping it as a spare for my 600N sport w/out gov

in hindsight it doesn't make sense for me to waste my time packing it, taking pp and the associated fees, and spending $3-4 to ship it out. Conversly, it doesn't make much sense for someone to spend $15 on this if they pay the shipping and pp which any offers so far haven't been willing to do, when you could buy a new one for $20.

So if someone wants to pay the pp and shipping it's around. Otherwise, no biggie.
