NiCD Principles

What are the principles behind these batteries? How do I charge them? I just got into glow, and I have RX batteries only. If it helps, I have a BC-6 and all the appropriate plugs.

Also, why does my NiCD battery have only two wires when my NiMH has three?

You will find that only 2 wires are conneted. Nicads can be charger fast if need be or very slow. But remeber to always discharge it to avoid memory effect. Try charging at 1C
