Hey!
I'm installing my 9VHP radio in a JR Venture .30 heli and I have a bit of a setup problem. The venture uses CCPM mixing, and I have set the swash mode to HR3 which is 120 degree swashplate...I had to reverse a couple of servos, but now that's all good, everthing is moving the right way and in the correct amounts, initially anyway. My problem is this: is it possible to trim the servos individually with the swashplate mixed this way? Any time I move a servo trim it moves all three plate servos at the same time. I need to have the plate servos centered (actually EVERY trim on the radio) with the collective in the center position, but the splines are not quite where I need them. This is an older radio, but it's a good one and I stll use it on my ExCells, no radio problems at all.
Does anyone else use this radio for CCPM? :?:
Thanks Alan P

To center the horns. You will need to keep rotating the servo wheels or horns till you get them in the position needed. On a CCPM model I would suggest using the servo wheels. They will have more usable positions. And if you don't find the exact position you need the wheel. Then you can drill a hole in the wheel where you need it.
Setting up a CCPM on the VHP is really no different than setting up a CCPM model on the 9Z. They both have to be set up mechanically the same way.

You need to use Sub-trim to do it electronically.
