After what I'm guessing was caused by a bit of a crash, I can't seem to keep the receiver bound. 1/2 the time it will not bind at power up, the rest of the time it loses the connection in mid-air, resulting in the throttle being cut & the CX2 dropping like a rock to the ground.
The receiver appears to have power; the yellow light blinks. The 3 in 1 always has power, the LED's on.
I'm at a loss, and the manual hasn't helped. I've tried re-binding, which worked for a minute two.
Any suggestions??

Most likely cause is a damaged receiver, try and subsitute with another one.

Make sure one of the capacitor leads on the motors isn't shorting out to the can.
They shouldn't touch the motor can except where they are soldered on the common lead.
The outside leads shouldn't touch the can.

Make sure the battery is fully charged also, if the battery goes below a certain point it will cause the receiver to reboot. Also dont fly more than 150 feet away as the transmitter is a low powered version.

I was pretty sure it was the receiver & picked one up off ebay. Much better. :)
Now to sort out the minor flight trim issues. ... :)
