can someone please explain the proper way to break in an os engine?

Run it a touch on the rich side first tank. The slowly lean it out doing just easy flying. Fly some pattern fig 8's etc. Keep a reall close feel on your backp[late temps. After 6-7 tanks put it to it. I am sure you will get a 100 different answers but that show I do it. Also don't feel the need to get the leanest possible main needle setting. I get it to where it is optimum and then richen a click. Better safe than sorry.

The nitro content of your fuel will determine how many turns out you need to go on the main needle for break-in (or, for that matter, for normal operation). I run 30% Cool Power in mine and broke it in 2 turns out. Lower nitro percentages require a leaner mix.
