hi guys
wondering if anyone else has this problem, the boom on my logo 500 keeps twisting clockwise in flight, its only doing it at the frame end of the boom, ive tightened the bolts up as far as i dare they are tight!
i'm about to fit a small self tapper in the boom spacer to stop it but i thought id'e just ask to see if anyone has experienced this and any other fixes, i just wish they had put a boss on the boom spacer and notched out the boom like others do,

set up is:
logo 5003d
hacker a40 8l
castle 85hv
thunder power 5000 6s
head speed =2350

David this is a common problem with a very easy fix. Take the boom out of the frames and wrap the end with a layer or 2 of packing tape or any tape for that matter. This will give the frames something to grip and works very well.

hey jeremy
yes thanks why didn't i think of that, i will wrap some insulation tape round the boom and re-fit, sounds better than putting more self tappers in, iv'e already got two tappers in for the grounding wires and i didn't really want to put any more in, so going to do that now, thanks jeremy.
