I was trying to adjust my dx6i to get my blade to hover. I made the wrong adjustment and went to reset it.
In the process of resetting I deleted my blade 400 profile.
I just spent the last 2 hours trying to set it back after rereading both books on the dx6i and on the blade.
My main problem is that I keep having it lift an inch off the ground and drift backwards and to the left.
I just replaced the gyro with the gy401 and the servo s3154.
So does anyone have the stock base settings in their dx6i they can share so I can reset my controler.
Since new I can not seem to get this bird to hover. I have inspected the sq plate and its level. The lhs told me it was the oem gyro. I also read it was a problem here so I swapped it out.
Any help would be great...
TIA

Supersport,
I had the same problem before I can't get my 400 of the ground for 2 weeks. It keeps drifting to the left and back. Then LockMD and Greenbar0n help me set-up my bird. Maybe you pay us a visit and we will help you.
Do you still have your training gear on? It makes it a little heavy on hovering but it will still hover. Have fun.

To get the default set-up for the DX6I go to Horizon Hobby web sight and click on Support, then DX6I Default program. This will get you started. Then go to
SOKAL"S Blade 400 3d Setup vids on Helifreak and reviw the DX6I Videos.
Have fun!

same problem myself, cost me a servo and a boom, but after i fitted the HS-65HB's and the S9257 in the tail and levelled the swash it hovered straight away
whoever put your heli together also put mine together and a few of the others i have read with this same complaint, i'm quiet sure if you reset your centres on your servos and re-level your swash the problem will disappeared
not all of these helis will fly straight out of the box ;)
cheers chuck
Edit: glad to see you got her back flying we must of been typing together

Well.........
I just got back from a test flight.
I cleaned up the swash plate, readjusted the gyro on the dx6 and had the most controlable flight yet. I was able to walk up and down the parking lot with it at chest level. Even when a nice wind came thru it still was smooth.
Tomorow in the daylight I'll get a better look at it. But very happy so far. Even with the steep wallet curve.
This hobby is still cheaper then my motorcycles...

Damn radio knob!!!
Reset my Blade settings by accident because that switch is sooo sensitive but thanks to this post, I was able to get back on track and hey, I actually didn't go the lazy route this time and just post a new thread.:YeaBaby:

To keep you from having this problem in the future, create another profile and then copy your current settings. This way if by accident, or by just messing around if you delete the setting you can get them right back.
BTW - SOKAL's videos rock! Thanks for all you do.

I did and I still managed to erase both:oops:. Since I fly no other heli's or planes, I'll just fill up the 9 other banks with the default Blade 400 setup. That ought to do it.
