I finally got back and had a chance to shoot some pictures of the spindles (feathering shaft) of the three classes of heli.
The first is the GAUI-200, next the T-Rex 450 v2, and finally the T-Rex 600
Note how the GAUI spindle is shorter and thicker in cross-section. I believe that's why they stay straight, but we may be transfering stresses to the blade grips, so I'm checking mine after every crash.
