Now your talking!!!! :YeaBaby:
Charley would it be possible to find a shorter main shaft for the flybarless head ? Would be nice to move the CG closer to the head.

Rignt now Charley either has or is waiting for a vbar to install in the prototype. We are also going to test others also...I will be ordering a Skookum to test also http://www.skookumrobotics.com/ as the price is very attractive. I am sure we will try the cylock also...
This is only the beginning of a lot of great products being release by Outrage RC this year...
The Outrage XP battery line is doing awesome with great comments by everyone that trys them..if you see me at an event come up and ask to fly a pack or two...I have 3S packs, 4S packs, and 6S packs for the G5, Trex 500 and 600 size on me at all times for any one that wants to try one...
Also...feel free to ask to fly the my G5 also! you will be hooked from the 1st flight!

Dose this point to The skookum unit possibly getting stocked at hd? I like that one piece setup of it and from what Bob has shown it works good when setup the right way. I got some power setups to play with Its nice to be a packrat. ;) although I should have ordered a 4s pack too. Oh well I'll get that later. I know where part of my stimulus check is going. One charger ain't enough. LOL From what I have read on the skookum setup its best to go with digi servos. I might go with hs 5065's. Ok I gota stop thinking about it my wallet hurts. LOL

Hey Greg,
Im very shy to try the flybarless setup, for I am a novic to this setup. Do you intended to release your heli setup and the Skookum setting when you get it set good as a reference point for others?
Guess twords the End of May, begining of June my nephew will be getting my HDX450 For his next heli.

I have the Vbar in the Prototype yet to get it dialed in as need to start with a scratch setup unless any of you Vbar guys with 450's have files to loan please drop me a PM
HFG to answer your question yes the Center hub will be shorter than Flybared to reduce mast height just so you know G5 is nearly 1" shorter in frame height than most 450 size helis so Axial CG will be even better in Flybarless.
I have tried to contact Skookum Via email and pm and they have yet to reply so..... I don't know how to comment on them or there system.
I will say this on my scales I lost 44 grams in head parts then gained back 53g in Vbar so so not bad to only gain 9 grams in weight.
more to follow

Raven...as Charley said above...Skookum has not been very good at returning emails (meaning...they HAVEN'T)...I am probably just going to use the add to cart and just pay "retail" for my unit so I can hopefully get one when they are supposed to be shipped on 12 May...
As for Helidirect carrying them...well lets get a unit or two tested and see if it is something that is worth carrying...
I will for sure post my set ups with the skookum if I can get one...

thanks...actually Art replied within about 30 minutes of me emailing him...I told Charley i guess he wasn't important enough to get a reply! :D
I would be interested in hearing about your results with it...too bad Bellville was so far from Orwell or I would come over to see it! As Art said the the next batch is probably going to be delayed a week or so past the 12th
