Good afternoon!
I collect this helicopter, as the motor has chosen Scorpion HK-3026 1210KV.
Interests an optimum variant for 2х3sp1 and for a variant 8sA123 (it was not defined yet, that I will put...). Presence built in BEC is not obligatory, though if there will be a variant with it it is very good!

In advance thanks!

Viktor.

I'll order a Scoprion but haven't decided if 1210 or 1400kV by now. As Esc I'll use a Scorpion Commander 90A for my 7s A123 setup -> http://www.scorpionsystem.com/catalog/speed_controllers/6s_lipo_sbec/6S-Com90A-ESC/
This should work great for up to 26V. Otherwise there's a high voltage version -> http://www.scorpionsystem.com/catalog/speed_controllers/12s_lipo_opto/12S-Com90A-Opto/
As always the best and mostly used Esc here you could get is a Jazz. For 3D take a Jazz 80 -> http://www.readyheli.com/Kontronik_Jazz_80_6_18_ESC_p/jazz80.htm
For higher voltage you could take a Kontronik Jazz 55-10-32 -> http://www.readyheli.com/Kontronik_Jazz_55_10_32_ESC_p/jazz55.htm or a new Jive -> http://www.der-schweighofer.at/web/productdetails.php?artikelnummer=74415&prodID=233&SCHWEIGHOFERSHOP=0caa57a1fcab3bb9ea100f2f32b80d96
Another solution would be a Castle Creation Phoenix -> http://www.castlecreations.com/products/phoenix-80.html or high voltage -> http://www.castlecreations.com/products/phoenix_hv_series.html

Thanks for the answer!

More and more I tend to installation Phoenix-80 Brushless Motor Control.
The given adjuster completely suits me at cost and many it recommend also as well as you.
I am am guarded only with one moment – whether it can normally work with accumulators 8SA123 (or 2х4SA123)???
In the specification to the given adjuster it is not mentioned anywhere about the given type of batteries.

Hi!
I run my Esc in NiMH mode... no low voltage cut-off needed. What I've seen in the manual -> http://www.castlecreations.com/support/documents/Phoenix_User_Guide.pdf there's no way to disable low voltage cutoff. Don't use the auto-lipo mode, use something very low. It doesn't matter for A123. I would use "Setting 1A: Cutoff Voltage - Phoenix" -> "2 - 4.0V Cutoff". This case should never happen... the important thing is not to use a lipo mode!

I would steer clear of the CC 85HV as the firmware is not up to scratch. CC promised new software versions since June 2007, nothing fortcoming. CC tech support suck big time, like no reply to email, phone calls not answered etc etc.

Rather get an ESC from another manufacturer. Even the stock Gaui units with heatsinks are better than CC.

Looking for some real exotic ESC go: http://www.mgm-compro.com/

Just my experience and advice.

FWIW, I have no problems with my CC HV85.
