What do you guys recommend as mandatory spare parts for a first time Mini Titan pilot? This will be my first CP after coming from a Honey Bee Fixed Pitch. I did a "search" but found very little so thought I would ask.

Thanks much for any info.

yeah true, you cannot find info about this so much. I was also looking some time ago it but well.. now I know it :rolling

anyways, i've had two crashes and they needed:

1st crash, flying at summer house, gusty weather and close to stored pier parts.. well rest is history...
main blades (PV0745)
main shaft (PV0704)
mixing lever (PV0712)
2 x ball links (PV0754, PV0755)
main gear (PV0724)

2nd crash, grassy field, 5m/s wind, st000pid orientation mistake at low alt
main blades (PV0745)
main shaft (PV0704)
mixing lever (PV0712)
2 x ball links (PV0754, PV0755)

Those original TT wood blades seems to break easily, so if you have better blades. Maybe they not break so easily. Every time you hit your main blades to something. It hits quite hard to those upper mixers and breaks them, at same time those small ball links between blade grips and upper mixers are lost. At least I lost them on both crashes. So get few bags of both of them :)

I have been thinking to upgrade upper mixers to metal ones, so let's see if that saves them in a future and I just loose ball links.. I know I will crash it again :smokin:

On first crash I also got a small bumb on my tail boom when that big bad pier jumped on top of my small heli... it's not big and no need to change my boom.

Some people also says that you break skids easily, well I do understand why. So it's good to get those spider or gorilla skids after your first time break them. I plan to get spider gear from xgearheli.com.

I was just emailing with them and they said that now they have spiders for titan too, they start to deliver them at next week. Also there will be new info about those at their website in day or two..

If some one has break something else, please tell it so people can stock them :lol:

Happy flying...

For very bad crash, you may also need main blade grip, feathering shaft and tail boom.

This is what I carry as spairs.

Landing gear
Tail booms
Tail belt
Blade(s)
Tail blades
Main gears
Fly Bars
Main shafts
Feathering shafts

I haven't had to use any yet :) Lotsa failed autos and the skids are surviving.

I am thinking of spare parts too, i am flying for more than 10 times with no crash yet.
I hope keep flying so.
A flybar is a sensitive part also.

I would recommend replacng the tail fin with the carbon version (PV0824). The plastic fin is very weak and will not protect the tailblades if you make a hard landing.

o, and get K&B tail blades after the stock ones breakes.. much tougher and better performance.. and price excellent as well
