Hey all... Currently, I have been running a 9303 FM synthesized radio system for quite some time now and I have it programmed for all my heli's and planes. It's obviously a great radio and I have experienced absolutely no glitching or any issues in transmission whatsoever.

I've been thinking about going 2.4 for a little while now, but have been hesitant after hearing all the brownout issues surrounding the 2.4 RX and the Trex 500 and other helis. I wanted to get all your opinions on if you think it would really be worth upgrading my system and if so... is it worth ridding myself of a perfectly great TX just for a new 2.4 9303 OR would you feel confident just going for a module upgrade OR would you stick with what I have and continue to fly on FM considering I've had no issues with anything so far?

Look forward to hearing all your opinions and thanks for the help.

Your choice.

I moved as I was worried about more and more one box RTF aircraft beign sold to people who have NO idea of frequency control on 72 MHz. I also like not dealing with the long antennas.

As for brownouts, as long as you supply at least 3.5 volts to the Rx it will be fine. As for static, helis have had static probelsm with 72 MHz.

As for module versus native, the native setup gives you Model Match and Servo Synch. Both are very nice. The X9303 also has a larger timer display that you can actually look down and see at a glance.

If you do get an X9303, with a mini stereo cable you can transfer the modesl from your XP9303 to your X9303 and be off and flying. I did it.
