I am amazed that the feathering shaft didn't at least bend a little, as it is supposed to be a "protective " fail first device.
Very impressive indeed. Worthy of mounting.

V2 Feathering shafts rule thats why... 4mm is much better than 3mm LOL doenst seem like much more but boy its a hell of a lot more.
As for the Carbons Breaking... yes they do break, but it takes quite a wack at high rpm to do it, which it seems you did :) Where you in Idle up or soemthing when it hit? or did you just forget to let loose of the throttle before the crash or was it one of those family member moments of pure distraction?
Either way you got away cheap :) Booms are very cheap and so are flybars... Blades i suggest you buy them off Amazon.com they are cheap there..
I should have taken pics of my bro's last crash LOL.... woulda made you feel much better..

Oh btw
its very very odd the direction that your flybar is bent in LOL, its bent towards the direction of rotation... how did you accomplish that one?

Well i guess thats what you get when you put on Aluminium skids, leaves no room for obsorbing some of the crash.
