I just bought a Gaui 200 and bought 2 - 2S Lipo packs

i have the thunder power 1010 charger and Thunder power balancer - however the 800mah 2S Lipo's have a 3 pin balancing plug but the chargers only go as low as 4 pins.

Where or who do I get an adaptor so I can balance charge these batteries using my charger?

I was in Augusta and borrowed a "Blinky" but would prefer to run them through the thunder power balancer.

So no replies?

Should I just buy a "Blinky"

I'd really prefer to get a cable and run the thunder Power Balancer, do you think a company like FlightPower might make up an adapter for me?

What you're looking for is the Thunder Power TP-205 balancer. I own one, it balances well.

I already have that TP-205 balancer but it doesn't work with the Gaui 2S 800MAH Lipo packs, the battery is a 3 pin, and the balancer is minimum 4 pin.

anyone else with this set up of Thunder Power Charger and the Gaui please chim in on how you are balancing your batteries?

Thunderpower has all sorts of adapters. Have you called them? They have great customer service!

I had same problem TP balancer is 4 pin, Gaui battery is 3pin
I even called thunder power.

any way with there info and a voltmeter I sorted it out.

first you need a female 3pin connector, either look threw some old computer parts (like desolder a motherboard fan 3pin connector.

or do like me and order a adapter from helidirect
http://www.helidirect.com/product_info.php?cPath=116_525&products_id=2978

it has the 3 pin female connector you need . wires are two reds and a black.(the center red would be the Gaui yellow.) clip off the male you only need the female side.

then get a TP 4pin adapter http://www.readyheli.com/TP_4_Pin_Pigtail_8_Tap_p/tp4pin.htm
color coded to match TP's info .

I then used volt meter Very carefully not to short anything, and figured out the wires on the Gaui battery.
Black is Negative, Yellow is single cell 3.85v Red two cells 7.69v

if you look tp 205 manual or call tp. there colors are Black neg, white first cell, Blue second cell, Orange third cell .

so you connect:
black to black
Yellow to White (middle)
Blue to red

Orange is simply not used for 2 cell battery. so i clipped it off and put heat shrink over it so it does not short anything .

oh you might also want to get some small heat shrink tubing to make the soldered splices on the 3 wires.

I could not find a ready made adapter.
