Thanks bro, thats why I asked: The is barrel distorion on the vid is a bit too much
do you know what focal length range is ( doesn't matter if its a hassle too find) image quality is very good though.

If I had that much fee cash it would go on another heli at the moment, just interested for
the future:thumbup:

VERY cool!!! two questions:

1) How does this compare to the helicam that xheli sells?
http://www.xheli.com/hemiwivica.html

2) What is the range for a 2.4 receiver? Like how do you know you are going a bit too far

Merlin,

goto the main video on yourtube that they are using to promote their camera.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPQ57KA74e4

you will see what the guy says there and i quote.

"** IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ ** this video is NOT done by using a wireless remote cam like xheli.com or trendtimes.com promote. they just use this video to sell their (different) cameras, and what`s even worse, they don`t give me one lousy buck for using my vid... I USED A DIFFERENT CAM!"

The camera he used is a regular digital camera called gsmart mini3. not a FPV wireless cam.

The camera that Xheli sells will only go 150 meters (450 feet) SO THEY SAY!! i know its BS, i have that same camera mounted right now on my Esmart jsut for mockup for when my real good stuff comes and there is interferance even from 10 ft away.

Also you do NOT want a 2.4Ghz camera if your running a 2.4Ghz radio, most guys doing this for a long time is using 900 Mhz.

Dierwolf, you are saving me money man. Thanks for the tip of 2.4 radio and 900 mhz camera.... I would not have guessed that. It says it clear on this awsome site as well. I better start saving money now. I think my 500 can handle the extra weight. I now just need to fly with more confidence. My Belt-CP is ready to fly once again. Main shaft got replaced with a shorted one but... I think it will work anyway.
