Wow I have a set like those. They work very good and universal!!!
Hmm... I keep breaking things with mine....:dance
My son gave me a pair of ball link pliers (he has a trex450) - I have tried to use them - there is never enough room to get them in there - and if there is they scratch the links. I use my fingernails - but sometimes loose one or two. Not ball links - fingernails.
What am I doing wrong??

Dont know but I use them on my cx2 (not needed) all the up to a 600 makes life easier for me. I even use them in reverse to help snap some stubborn ones on.

I just purchased a set of Align's ball link pliers (SKU #K10338TA) and they did not work well on B400 ball links - back to the shop. The workmanship was also quite bad, as the attached image will hopefully illustrate: you might be able to visualize the right hand tine grinding away on the link, and there not being enough room to seat the ball (for reattachment) without the center prong deforming the link as it mashes on the edge.

I use fingers / nails too. Got a big black one because of it....
