Only got rain (and wind) down here. I haven't yet found a "perfect flying field" or however you described it, so this summer I may take you up on that offer. :cheers
BTW, I didn't see your "pin" in the HF Locator.

It took me a while to figure out what you were talking about.
But I did so without any help, my pin has been placed.

Ah, there you are!
But I see no house. Do you live down in that gully, under the bridge? :rolling
One of these day's we'll definitely have to meet up.

I didn't know I could get that exact so I just stuck it in the general area.

Here's the pictures of my newly discovered flying field that I've been promising.

It's 12.8 miles from my house, door to helipad.
Most days it's empty, a few plank guys use it on Sunday mornings.
From what I understand one guy started it and put in some money and time.
I hope to meet him this weekend and shake his hand.:noteworthy

Lock, go ahead and pick one or two of your favorites and enlarge.
Sorry been busy with other things and haven't checked out PhotoBucket...some day.

I hope you guys enjoy the pictures.

Ti RX-8

Just send me a PM if you ever want to make the trip.
There's a small group that meets on Sunday mornings, all other days it's empty for the most part.

Well, not the Rocky mountains in the background, but some pics finally courtesy of my wife.
I've run 30 packs (5 minutes each) through the heli and we're pretty solid on the hover and spot landings now. Got about 10 packs in today.Very, very hot and humid today!

It took me about a week to finally get my wife to take some pictures of the heli in motion.
On a scale of 1 to 10 her interest in this is neg 1,000,000. I'm going to have to be very creative for any chance of a video.

P.S. If I bought a T-Rex 600, she probably would not know it is another heli unless the 2 were side by side.

Dang, Wolf, it looks beautiful up there. We've been having tons-o-wind down here, and I haven't had many opportunities to fly. I'm going to start looking for a day to take a road trip.

Thanks guys.
It's a flying field with a million dollar view, for sure.

Ti RX-8,

Just let me know when you're coming.:YeaBaby:
It's been real windy here too but early mornings until about 10am is usually calm.
