hi all well i had a bit of a "Off" landing and just caught the tip of the blades on the dirt, it also broke one of the tail boom supports which i glued back together (& ordered a new one ;) )

checked over everything and there was a tiny tear in the covering on the tip of one blade, just CA'd that down and the feathering shaft looked bent, which it was so replaced that using Locks great tip, thanks for that it made the job oh so easy

when i had the blades off i started the heli up and checked to see if the main shaft looked bent but it seemed to be ok i didn't notice any wobble in it anyway, i checked right over the heli for anything else but couldn't see anything, so put it all back together

well when i spool it up it seems to shake on its landing gear just a bit more than i can remember from before the crash, it's just a little and doesn't move off or anything like that but defiantly seems to have a slight wobble

well when it gets to lift of speed the heli smooths right out lifts up and hovers beautiful

i hovered it for a while landing and taking off and it really seems to have that slight wobble at start up and until the head reaches lift of speed but then it is as smooth as, has anyone any idea what it is? or what i need to check next?

thanks guys chuck

PS checked and the blades looked like they were tracking good too

i have done the same putting ca to keep the covering on and it really threw of the balance of the blade, so my suggestion is to recheck blade balance. after i rebalanced my blades the wobble disappered completely.

thanks for that i will give it a go

as said it's only slight and really doesn't seem to affect the hover, but it's definitely there

cheers chuck

You've got your music turned up too loud Chuck. :Bang

Turn it down some and you won't be rocking as much. ;)
