I have an IMAX B6 charger and just bought an FP EVO25 5000mAh 6S 22.2V lipo battery but the balancing connector is too small and can not be plugged in the charger.
Do you guys have this type of charger & how to overcome this problem?
Thanks.

I don't own this charger.
Just to be clear, your Lipo has 2 balancing connectors right? One has 4 pins and the other has 6?
My understanding is that the Imax B6 has a 6s JST-XH socket. Your FP Lipo has a Thunder Power style plug ... so you need an adapter.
I am 98% certain you need something similar to this:
part number: FPVHR6S-JSTXH

It is available from Flight Power.
You can plug both balancing taps from your pack into this adapter, then plug the Align (JST-XH) 6s tap into your charger.
Or, you can change the balancing tap on your pack. Although this is not recommended because
a) you could get the order of wires wrong
b) soldering would create a weakness in the wire that could break

Thanks so much for your reply.
The picture is too small for me to see how many pins are on the JST-XH side of the adapter.
The Imax B6 has a 7 pin male input connector for 6S, I'd like to be absolutely certain before placing the order.
Thanks.

My battery is brand new, is there any risk if I recharge it without the balancing wire for the first time?

It looks to me like the end of the adapter has the Align style (JST-XH) 6s connector, which has 7 pins.
Don't know about charging w-out a balancer, I have never tried that.
